Indotek Group’s Private Equity division invests in companies with long-term growth potential, offering capital and strategic management support. We target businesses where transformation and operational enhancements drive value beyond real estate.
Our strategy is built on three pillars:
• Turnaround Investments – Restructuring financially or operationally distressed companies.
• Strategic Restructuring – Optimizing business operations and unlocking new growth opportunities.
• Retail & Market Expansion – Leveraging Indotek’s real estate expertise to strengthen commercial businesses.
Key investments include Waberer’s International Nyrt., one of Central Europe’s largest logistics and fleet management companies, where Indotek led a successful restructuring and exit. In the renewable energy sector, we invested in Alteo Nyrt., implementing operational improvements that drove strong financial performance and a profitable exit.
Our largest private equity investment to date has been in the retail sector, where we acquired a 47% stake and secured majority management control in hypermarket operator Auchan Hungary. The acquisition represents one of the largest corporate transactions by a Hungarian investor in recent years completed without state involvement.
The investment positions Auchan Hungary for significant growth, including store network expansion, supply chain modernization, and digital transformation.
With a growing presence in 12 countries, we continue to seek strategic acquisition targets across Europe, focusing on retail, hospitality, and commercial sectors to drive sustainable value.
