Hungary’s Dalmatie Group Completes EUR 1.5 Million Port Upgrade in Marina Kremik

Marina Kremik announces today the essential completion of the works of a 1.5 million EUR refurbishment project, elevating the port’s service plateau and its facilities. The project, funded entirely by the port’s owner Dalmatie Group, a Hungarian property investment group active on the Croatian coastline, enhances security, functionality, and efficiency at the port.

“We are thrilled to announce this milestone investment in Primošten. The new service plateau enables us to serve more boats efficiently, offering expedited and enhanced services to our valued clients,”  commented the general manager of Marina Kremik, Ivana Mrčela Kvesić of Dalmatie Group. “This reflects our commitment to maintaining a world-class destination in Marina Kremik for boaters and adventurers alike.”

Completed in mid-July after seven months, the renovation equips Marina Kremik’s clients with state-of-the-art port services in terms of quality, speed, and safety. The original structure was built in the early 90’s and previous owners of the port did not invest in its renovation.

The revitalized service plateau, composed entirely of non-slip reinforced concrete slabs, integrates a fresh rainwater drainage system and separator installation. The renovation also includes upgraded electrical wiring and installations, 14 electrical cabinets, water outlets, and nine new light poles. The new installations streamline boat handling, improve task efficiency and client satisfaction.

Marina Kremik currently maintains 393 sea berths and 150 berths on dry land, operating at full capacity. Nestled in a naturally sheltered bay inland, it stands as one of the Adriatic’s most secure harbors. Over 70% of the port’s private users are returning clients. Hosting around 6,500 boat arrivals annually, Marina Kremik’s strategic location offers easy access to Croatia’s national parks, vineyards, and Primošten town, positioning it as an ideal base for exploring nearby attractions.

In addition to the full-service boat repair shop with the refurbished plateau, Marina Kremik also offers an a la carte restaurant, a convenience shop, and a gas station. The port currently serves as a hub for 10 charter companies, facilitating a range of boat tours.
