Dániel Jellinek
Dániel Jellinek is the CEO and majority shareholder of Indotek Group.
- Dániel Jellinek completed his secondary school studies in 1991-1995 at the Mihály Károlyi Secondary School of Economics and Foreign Trade in Budapest, spending an academic year at Rendwick High School in Sidney, Australia, in 1992-1993. He graduated from the Faculty of Trade and Commerce of the Gödöllő University of Agricultural Sciences in 1999 with a degree in business administration and management.
- In 1997 he and his partners founded Kevin & Thorn Bt., a company that specialised in management consultancy, crisis management and turnaround management. A year later Kevin & Thorn Arbitrázs Rt. was founded, and in 1999 the group adopted the name Indotek.
- In 2009 the Indotek Group led by Daniel Jellinek decided to sell one-third of its shares to the Bohemian Group, an American investment partner. The Group benefited from a significant capital raise by the new shareholder following the transaction.
- Today the Group is a major player in the Hungarian market of class B and C commercial properties. It employs about 240 staff and owns more than 300 properties, and it manages over 1.5 million gross leasable area in total, shared among more than 2,500 tenants.

Having developed several residential park projects of its own, the Indotek Group is now also present in the residential real estate market.
In the NPL market we focus on real estate-backed corporate receivables and the workout activities associated therewith.
The Indotek Group has managed more than five hundred real estate transactions over the years. Its real estate portfolio includes more than twenty office buildings, such as the EMKE Office Building in Blaha Lujza tér or the Focus Point Office Building in Dohány utca; several hotels, including the Gellért Hotel and the Sofitel; and numerous warehouses and industrial facilities. The Group also manages a significant part of the industrial properties of the former Csepel Works, including several sports facilities located in the 21th district, and we have been a major sponsor and keen promoter of sports activities and events in Csepel for more than a decade.
The Indotek Group entered the commercial real estate market in 2014. Since then we have acquired twenty shopping centres located in Budapest and in major Hungarian cities, each comprising thousands of square metres. Among these are Corvin Plaza and Duna Plaza in the capital, Alba Plaza in Székesfehérvár and Debrecen Plaza at the seat of Hajdú-Bihar County. In 2019 the Group purchased Promenada Mall in Târgu Mureş, marking its entry into foreign markets.
In January 2020 Indotek also acquired Diófa Alapkezelő, owned by Takarékbank and considered to be the third largest fund manager in Hungary.
